Check-in/Sharing

Topic:
Sound is a nutrient for our spirit as well as our body. It is how we express ourselves to the world. And sound in the form of music accompanies us throughout our lives, celebrating our brightest moments, sensualizing our romances, and offering comfort for our pain. For many of us, music is the bridge between the inner world and the external world, the invisible world of dreams and passions and the concrete world we can see and touch, our hearts and our souls. Music moves us and is at once personal and universal.

Play the music you brought with you and describe how it touches or has touched you in the past. Tell the story of the connection between you and this music.

Closing Words:

There are numerous strings in your lute,
Let me add my own among them.
Then when you smite your chords,
My heart will break its silence,
And my heart will be one with your song. Rabindranath Tagore
