First Unitarian Society in Newton

Ministries / Services

Join the FUSN Community at Services

The FUSN community gathers at services on Sundays and special occasions to explore Unitarian Universalist ideas and experiences, enjoy music and dance, and share joys and concerns. The minister conducts and preaches at most services, but some are lay led. After services, all are invited to gather for Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall. The congregation welcomes newcomers of all faiths, abilities, and orientations. You are welcome.

Children enrolled in the Religious Education (RE) program usually begin Sunday mornings in the sanctuary with their parents and leave for planned activities after a short time involving a children’s story or performance. The RE program provides child care during the service for infants through eighth grade students.

Free parking is available in West Newton Square: parking lots are located off Cherry Street, Highland Street, and Chestnut  Street. View map.
